Motivation Monday

Ah, Monday, back to the grind. For many, Monday is officially the most miserable day of the week.  In fact, a recent survey showed that more than half of us spend an average of 34 minutes moaning and complaining on Monday mornings. The survey also stated that one in three people said they hated Monday more than any other day of the week.

Sounds like someone has a bad case of the Mondays!

Don’t let the Monday blues get you down. No matter how much you may groan and moan there is no escaping Monday.

So why not change it up? Why not take a different approach? Why not start the week out on a positive note?

Changing the way you feel about Mondays is just about one of the best ways you can fill your life with passion and expectation. Hey, it’s a new day, a new week, right? Full of new opportunities, new challenges, new possibilities!

Yesterday is already gone, and tomorrow isn’t here yet. So everything you’ll ever accomplish, no matter how big, will be accomplished one day at a time.  Start today, Monday, with a new attitude!  A positive attitude brings you strength, energy, and initiative.  Attitudes are contagious and infectious.

Ya, it’s Monday. How about being grateful you have a job to go to.  Adopt an “Attitude of Gratitude”.  Treat today as a new opportunity for you to move forward in the direction you want to go and to accomplish what you want!

Here’s a little inspirational gift for you.  You might be surprised as to what can be accomplished!

  1. I have enjoyed immensely reading your blog. As a writer I know you will understand if I am absent from making comments for a couple of months. I have two books I’m writing and the push is on to get them finished…so with only 24 hours in the day, I am going to continue to read and like, but my comments will be limited to replies for those who comment on my blog…thanks for the grace.

    Be encouraged!

Yes it’s Monday once again. For some, it’s the most dreaded day of the week. It was a great weekend but now it time to deal with the reality of the start of the work week. If you are on the east coast, it’s a rainy dreary day. Out west it’s just plain old hot. The excuses are a plenty but if you are in sales, it’s crunch time.

Believe it or not there are only 15 selling days left in the quarter. This is when the rubber meets the road. The time that separates the men from the boys (sorry ladies), the weak from the strong, and the average sales rep from the Rock Star. This is the time when Sales Rock Stars . . . ROCK!

To help you start off your Monday on a positive note, I thought I would bring back a post from the past that includes an inspirational video on some truly amazing accomplishments.

Approach today, Monday, with the passion and intensity it takes to deliver a Rock Star performance. Remember, there is no second place in sales. Adopt a “whatever it takes” attitude and play to win.
