What’s your Vision?

With all the running around that we do today when do you really have time to stop and think about what you really want out of life? We are so busy with work or running kids from place to place performing one activity after another. We are so busy with our daily lives that we get caught up in present and we don’t always dream about the future. I saw a commercial that shows all these people at work saying what they want to do when they grow up. At what point do we really grow up? Ask yourself, are you currently living the life that you visualized? Are you happy with where you are personally and professionally? If not it could be that you are lacking or are not focusing on your vision.

We all have dreamed what it would be like to be the next MegaMillions winner or the next lottery millionaire. We have a picture of what we were going to do and buy once the big pay day comes. It easy when it’s pretend but what if you want it to be so? You need to visualize!

Throughout history great men have used visualization to make their dreams reality.  Ben Franklin, Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell ,  Albert Einstein and Henry Ford were just a few of the great people in our history that believed in utilizing the power of visualization. They would take the time, sometimes sitting quietly in the dark, visualizing what they wanted to accomplished. They would focus on the task or activity so that they were actually living it. They could see themselves walking and talking and doing the thing that they had only dreamed of!

So what’s your vision? Have you visualized where you want to be or what you want to accomplish? If you aren’t visualizing where you want to go and what you want to be it’s awfully hard to get there.  Imagine driving a car with out knowing where you are going. Imagine riding a bicycle with your eyes closed.  It’s the same concept for your life whether it’s in business or in your personal life.  You have to have clarity as to what success will look like. To achieve it you have to believe it. Remember, seeing is believing! Use visualization to bring you goals, dreams, and desires into focus.

  1. So true. And it’s good to read a reminder. Keep it up. It’s music to my ears.
